Life's moments...

Ok, last night while lugging my plethora of groceries home from the store in my station wagon (yes, I drive a station wagon) I was moved by some tiny life moments.  It happened so fast, and it was like a ricochet of sweetness.  I had to stop to pull out of the parking lot and while doing so I saw a young dad putting his groceries in his trunk and kissing all over his newborn baby.  I loved it. ( I had witnessed him earlier in the store pushing the baby around and buying groceries)  He was so happy and loving.  He was also there by himself.  I LOVE seeing daddies stepping up and taking their kids out by themselves.  To me that's a sign of a real man.  I'm not impressed with what you wear, what your job is or what you drive. I love seeing a man comfortable enough with himself to show love and also caring enough to include his children in his life.  Sadly, I know a lot of "dads" out there who refuse to take the kids to the store with out mom's help.  I'm proud of my hubby he started taking both kids out from the beginning.  It was nothing for him to take the newborn to the store with the 7 year old.

From that sweet moment I saw an old couple holding hands walking into the store.  I LOVE SEEING THIS!!!  It's so sweet to see people who have been together (assuming...makes the story sweeter) for years and still in love enough to hold each others hands.  I know it's a silly concept, but the power of touch is unyielding and I adore seeing people in love through the years.  ( I was stuck at the cross walk, hence why I had so much to see)

(This was captured by my cellphone and it's kinda crappy but you get the jest)
I looked up and saw the evening sky turning to purples, reds and oranges.  I loved it.  My heart was swooning seeing all the happiness and what was right in the world.  It made me think, so often we are fixed upon the negative, that we overlook the happiness happening around up.  I then turned my head and saw a young couple with two children and daddy was wearing the newborn in the sling.  I LOVED it!!!  I love when men wear babies...yet again going back to being comfortable enough to show love and helping mom out. My grocery trip ended on a happy note.  Which was nice considering I spent $140 and was not the happiest person for that.  I smiled pulling into my driveway.  I love stepping back and witnessing some happiness in the world.

This was my lunch yesterday...and this is proof why I have not hit my goal weight. I need to go back to eating better...I just haven't had time...HA!!!

My tree in the backyard...it has now fully blossomed and this is the reason for my headaches...fun...

Speaking of being happy the hubs fixed my website!!!  WOO HOO!!!  It was a corrupt plugin I had added to it.  I feel awful because he worked on computers all day, came home, did scouts and then sat down to fix my website.  I need to take him on a date.  Soon I will be unveiling my site and would love for suggestions and help from you guys.  Yay!!!  Ok...off to make lunch I go.
