Home time...

I haven't posted house pics in awhile...

Let me give you the history of my house.  We got a REALLY good deal on this house...but there was a catch...the catch was it was covered in 80's wallpaper.  It had not been updated since it was built in 1985 and yes...I adore the 80's but I did not want my house to look like an episode of Full House.  So room by room we have been redoing this house.  Hopefully, it will be done before I'm 90.

I ran across this photo of my entry table and had to share.  I am EXTREMELY thrifty. My entry table has been in my hubby's family for a LONGGGGG time....around 40 plus years.  I didn't really dig the color of wood it was so I painted it black and paired it with a black mirror.  Loved the outcome.

This is a picture of my table taken around 1978 at my husbands parents house.

Love this table...marble top and great shape.  Best of all...it was FREE!!!

Here is a before shot of my vase...peddlers mall find...a little spray paint can make magic happen.

Here are some other home pics.

 I painted my rail black...now to re-do the stair treads : (

My T.J. Maxx subway art...love it : )

Kitchen chandelier. Out with the ceiling fan : )

Kitchen silhouettes.  I saw these on Etsy and made my own : )

I love recycling furniture and I have a bunch more to refinish and decorate.  I can't wait to hit up the Michigan thrift stores ; )

How in the world is your house so clean? Seriously, I had to pull some of my photos down today because there was spaghetti sauce on them. I'm insanely jealous of people who can pull off chic. Check me out at http://morethanjustamomma.blogspot.com/
