I've been bitten by the bug...

The jewelry making bug  : )  One of my good friends makes jewelry.  She makes beautiful pieces and is always telling me I should make some stuff.  Well, the other day  Michaels's had a sale and I bought some fun chains and clasps.  I pieced everything together and managed to make my first bracelet.  Looking back I should have used better tools, but I really like how it turned out.  I can't wait to start making more : )

{ It's funny because my 8 year old son is modeling this.  And sadly, my 8 year old son's wrist is larger than mine. The bracelet was snug on him.  I have freakishly small wrists, fingers and ankles.}

Now adding more to my plate for projects.  I might be reupholstering a chaise lounge.   I gave my mother in law my old chaise from Spencer's nursery.  Well, she moved and doesn't have room for it and I might just make a project out of it.  Hummmm...can I add anything else to my plate?  I'm thinking I will be making jewelry xmas gifts this year.  I also need to start knitting again.  Now to find the energy for said projects : )

That turned out really nicely. I think jewelry Christmas gifts would be an awesome idea.:)New Follower from Pixie Dust

I absolutely adore this bracelet! You should do a tutorial on how to DIY jewelry! Especially this one. I love it!

Every time I walk down the 'jewelry' aisle in the craft store I have to stop myself! I think I would become addicted too- and I have too many other projects going on right now! I hope you share the chair you are re-covering!
