Ok, anyone who knows me knows I LOVE throwing a party. I also love the website pinterest. Last weekend I threw my youngest son a superhero birthday party. I found so many cute ideas from that site I was able to use. The kids all had a blast, as did the adults. I was shocked with how awesome everything turned out.
Below are some pictures from the party...
{ I had my friends Amanda and Sarah helping me make all the cake balls, candy covered marshmallows and the cake. I'm a nervous baker. The skyline on the cake was actually edible sugar paper. I cut that out : P Everything tasted so delicious! I wish we had made more cake balls...been craving them : ) }

I have the best friends and husband in the world. They agreed to dress up like evil villains and be zapped by crazy string for the party.
Looking back I should have done this outside. But I didn't want to have to make all the kids put their coats on, and then go outside. I also was afraid some of the little ones would run off. So we did this in my basement. The picture above was the "villains" coming down to attack them.
The kids LOVED this!!! It's funny because every time I look through these pictures the song, Kung Foo Fighting plays over and over again in my head....
I love how my friend kept a smile the whole time.

It was a great party! I couldn't have done it without the help from my friends and my husband. The kids had so much fun!!! I'm still cleaning up from it ; )
