Wow...

I'm high on coffee right now.  I know I'll crash at some point around 3pm ish so til then I'll be floating  high enjoying my energy buzz : )

Yesterday I had a lovely lab work appointment.  I have to go every 6 months to have my thyroid levels checked...fun stuff {eyes rolling}.  I took the boys with me since it was a simple poke and I was out the door...or so I thought.  Cedric was in a HORRIFIC mood and was crying trying to escape his stroller.  Spen was adorable...he asked if I was going to be given juice and cookies afterward...he wanted some.  I had to explain to him the difference of donating and labs...but it was cute nonetheless.  Cedric and his escape act was not cool...I felt REALLY bad because the guy next to me had never given blood and had a whole slew of labs to be run.  He was super nervous and my kid was only raising the anxiety level in the room.  Shhheeessshhhhh...thankfully, the lady who handled my labs was quick and we were out the door.  It was rather funny that she walked me out the "BACK" way to avoid the waiting room.  Yup, I'm officially one of those moms of a screaming toddler...funnnnnnnnnnn...

I crashed yesterday.  Cedric and I laid down for a nap...a late one...and then I downed two cups of coffee with dinner...NOT a good idea.  So needless to say as everyone in my house slept last night I was up cleaning and rearranging furniture.  I moved an area rug to the office.  I vacuumed, mopped and did dishes.  I painted and even indulged in my new obsession of pinterest a little.  I even moved some furniture from downstairs to the upstairs.  I'm excited because I can't wait for the weekend.  I want to make some picture ledges and floating shelves for the office.  I need to finish painting my chair.  So much to do...so little time. 

We have our official cub scout back to school bash this weekend.  I'm the event chick who has to plan that type of stuff.  I'm wondering what little gift I should give the kids.  Hummm...

I received my fabric yesterday for my chairs.  I can't believe how fast it came!!!  I will definitely be shopping from buyfabrics.com again.  LOVED them.
