It seemed I blinked and the weekend was gone. I did not get all accomplished what I set out to do....but I did visit the grocery and my cork board is almost complete...so not too shabby if I say so myself. My friend and I might start a little business adventure...stay tuned for more updates.
I have to leave and pick Spen up in a few minutes. I hope today's visit went better than last visit.
I love my friends. I was thinking that today. I have a great set of friends. They have been with me through thick and thin and I know I could count on them if I needed them for any crisis. Friends are important in life. I hate that I really do not get to see them as often as I like, but I still love them nonetheless. I'm planning a BBQ soon. I need hugs, food, and good board games. My friends are funny...they laugh at my silly ideas, and support me through even the wackiest ones. I have a circle of friends I would trust my life to...most of them I have known since middle school but a few new treasured friends I picked up along this journey in life. I'm in such a weird sentimental mood, I might hand write some cards and send them out. The awesome thing is...my friends are weird and dorky like me and totally would dig that. I think it's important to let the ones you love know that you love them. Communication is not only about venting your problems, or keeping in contact, but it's also letting the other person know how valued they are. I always have my door open to new friends. I think life is a wonderful thing that should be filled with a variety of people. I'm such a people person. I swear I have withdrawals if I don't come into contact with people daily. Hence, why I love my job. Lesson of the day...surround yourself with good friends. People you love, trust and can laugh or have a good cry with. They are worth more than gold : )
Off to sing off key in my car and pick up my little man...have a good night guys.

Every weekend, I always wonder where the weekend has gone, too!
Your post reminds me not to take my friends for granted. They have gotten me through some really bad times. Now that I'm married, though, I don't hang out with them much.
I'm here from McHoppin, and now following you on GFC. :)
