My heart is breaking...

My heart is breaking for the people of Japan. Watching footage this morning was just so saddening.  I could not even imagine how terrified they must be.  My heart also sank and is still in knots for the people of Hawaii.  I hope and pray they are not hit with a catastrophic tsunami.  I know that was a fear of mine when we stayed there.  You are on this tiny island in the middle of the ocean.  Those thoughts enter your mind.  But I can honestly say Hawaii is fully prepared and well rehearsed for such events.  They have many plans of action and the rescue staff on the island are well trained and prepared for this event.  I just was saddened to see this happening.  It's just such a horrific event.  I hate it for Japan...the lives lost and forever changed just breaks my heart.  Sending prayers out to all those involved in this tragedy.
